Medium: Branding, layout, print, and merchandise design
The Problem: Create a cohesive design solution that answers the question, “How might we design a resource that encourages student financial wellness and informs ECU students of local student discounts?”
I created a 36 page booklet, posters, flyers, and other printed merchandise in partnership with ECU’s Financial Wellness Hub. As a designer for ECU, I was able to use my knowledge of ECU’s brand guidelines to create materials that adhered to the requirements while standing out from other campus marketing materials. The design takes on a friendly, approachable style to help encourage students to interact with an intimidating topic: financial wellness. Through surveys and interviews I was able to land on making a resource that compiled student discounts and encouraged budgeting.
